SHAMc Collective Member Heather Richardson was chosen as one of six artists to each paint a Honda Accord at ArtPrize located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
She painted the car for a week and we all voted and WE WON THE CAR for Safety Harbor Art and Music Center to use as their corporate car for the two year lease.

Universe Hearse

"PLAY NOW REST LATER" are the bold words that you'll see emblazoned on the front of the Universe Hearse. These are the Whimzey Twins "Words to Live By"---The art car is made of plexiglas mosaic and mardi gras beads. People from all over the world used an electric engraver to write their "Words to Live By"on a piece of plexiglas.

Y2K Bug

The turn of the millennium- People were so scared that, in the digital age, everything would crash when the calendar went from 1999 to 2000. All of that fear was the subject of the Y2K bug, a digital-inspired art car made from CDs, chipboards, and keyboard pieces.

ArtSurprize

We created ArtSurprize during Art Prize in Grand Rapids, Michigan during the summer of 2013. The car was entered into a massive art contest and was created on site during the festival.
